External Examiner nomination form - The External Examiner nomination form should be submitted to the relevant School Academic Board no later than eight months prior to the start of the academic year in which the appointment is to take place.
External Examiner extension to tenure/reallocation of duties form - The extension to tenure/reallocation of duties form should be submitted to the relevant School Academic Board no later than eight months prior to the expiration of the current contract or eight months before reallocation of duties is to take place.
External Examiner report and fees claim form: Examiners are required to report annually by 30 September. We have moved to a fully online system in 2024, following a successful pilot in 2023. Details will be communicated annually. Any questions can be directed to the Governance and Quality Enhancement Team using the email address: externalexamining@qmu.ac.uk
External Examiner response report form - This template may be used by Programme Leaders responding to External Examiner reports. Alternative formats are also acceptable.
