Vicky holds a BA in Theatre Studies and a MA with distinction in Translation Studies (English/Greek as a language pair) funded by The Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (Sylff) as a promising PG student. She has worked as a drama teacher in primary education and as a part-time lecturer in post-secondary and tertiary education in Greece teaching History of Theatre and Theory and Practice of Translation at UG and PG level. Her published translations from English to Greek include Very Short Introductions to Nietzsche, Clausewitz, Indian Philosophy and Existentialism from Oxford University Press and her drama translations have been staged in Greece twice.
Vicky is a HE Professional with extensive international collaboration experience in Greece and the UK and she has gained insight into the demands of TNE provision from a strategic, operational and relationship management point of view. Vicky has been involved in the day to day liaison with partner countries, student and staff induction and transition activities, assessment moderation management, curriculum validation and review documentation development for collaborative programmes, including acting as an internal and external panel member in relevant events, accreditation processes and translation project management services of student work, working collegiately in a dedicated liaison and solutions focussed way.
As an International Academic Coordinator, Vicky is responsible for the coordination, effective and efficient delivery of operations and quality assurance processes of all TNEP activity within the 国产乱伦 Business School spanning fourteen UG/PG programmes delivered in five countries across eleven delivery sites.
As a Collaborative Academic Lead for Greece, Vicky is responsible for the daily operational management of five UG programmes delivered in Greece across seven delivery sites. Vicky is working with colleagues across the Business School and the University to ensure a positive student experience for TNE students and she has been involved in a number of TNE projects to strengthen TNE delivery.
